Branding and domains
Make the portals, the embed and the emails look like yours, on your own addresses.
Both pages are under Partner settings › Workspace and need the Partner administrator role.
Branding
Open Branding. The live preview shows your Customer Portal and Admin Portal as you type.
- Display name, logo (PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG, up to 1 MB; wide logos work best) and favicon (a square PNG, ICO or SVG of at least 32 × 32 px).
- Primary colour: Transakt derives the whole palette, light and dark, and checks contrast. A colour too light to read against white is refused, and Use a darker shade suggests the nearest one that works.
- Support email or URL (at least one), contact, terms and privacy URLs. A terms URL is needed to sell online: customers accept these terms at checkout.
- Default language for visitors whose browser language is not supported and for emails to people without a preference.
- "Powered by" mark: plans with white-label can hide it.
Save to apply; your portals and emails show the change within a few minutes.
Domains
Open Domains. Your platform addresses ({your-slug}.portal.<platform-domain> and {your-slug}.admin.<platform-domain>) always work. To use your own address:
- Add domain: a subdomain such as
portal.example.com(not the bare domain), and whether it is for the Customer Portal or the Admin Portal. - Create the DNS records shown at your DNS provider: a CNAME to the platform's edge, and a TXT validation record.
- Transakt checks them every few minutes (Check now to check at once; DNS changes can take up to 48 hours), then issues a certificate. The domain becomes active, usually within an hour, and its certificate renews automatically.
Make primary uses a domain in emails, links and the Marketplace landing page URL; afterwards, update the landing page URL in Partner Center for each publisher source. Each address has its own sign-in, so people may be asked to sign in again when they move between addresses.
