Transakt documentation
Sell your software through Microsoft Marketplace and directly, and let your application know what each customer may use.
Transakt is the commercial control plane for software publishers. You (the partner) keep your products, editions and plans in one catalogue, sell them through Microsoft Marketplace and directly (subscription keys and online payments with your own Revolut account), and your customers manage what they bought in your Customer Portal, under your brand. Your applications ask Transakt one question, what may this customer use?, and are told when the answer changes.
Getting started
Create an API client, get a token and make your first entitlement call.
Concepts
Products, editions, plans, capabilities, channels, subscriptions and seats.
API reference
The product API: entitlements, catalogue, metered usage.
Webhook events
Events your application receives, and how to verify them.
Admin Portal guide
For your team: catalogue, Marketplace mapping, branding, integrations.
Customer Portal guide
For your customers: buying, activating, seats, plans and billing.
Who this is for
- Partner developers who connect their SaaS application to Transakt: read entitlements and capabilities, receive webhooks, report metered usage.
- Partner teams who run their catalogue and customers in the Admin Portal.
- Customers of a partner who use its Customer Portal.
Every partner works in its own isolated workspace: an API client, a webhook or a portal only ever sees that partner's products and customers.
